Dry as stated in the wash instructions.

Group similar colors and washcare garments when washing.

Turn denim jeans and jackets inside out before washing.

Make sure you use the correct washing temperature. If unsure, always wash at a lower temperature (cold wash).

Rinse until water runs clear after hand washing your clothes.

Don't leave garments with white and coloured panels soaking for prolonged periods.

Don't wring swimwear, rinse swimwear after use.

Don't spin any wool, acetate, viscose or mix garments.

Clothing Care Symbols

Look after your fabrics

 Wool

  • Shrinks if washed at a high temperature and loses its shape if hung to dry.
  • Effective for warmth.
  • Tends to yellow and become matted with time.

Cashmere

  • Dry clean for best results. If washed at home, use cold water and a little light detergent.
  • Do not wring and dry flat.
  • Do not machine dry. Iron on wrong side.

Cotton

  • Shrinks if washed at a high temperature. Irons well. Wash colors separately the first time.
  • Cool, flexible and highly resistant.
  • Creases easily.

Linen

  • Always hand wash. Do not spin or wash at high temperatures. Irons well.
  • Cool and pleasant on the skin. Dirt resistant.
  • Creases extremely easily.

Silk

  • Does not tolerate high temperatures. Do not spin. Dry iron at a low temperature setting.
  • Strong, light and pleasant on the skin. Excellent color absorbency.
  • Stubborn stains must be removed professionally from this delicate fabric.

Acetate, Rayon or Viscose

  • Do not spin in order to prevent garment from becoming misshapen.
  • Smooth on the skin and excellent color absorbency.
  • Low resistance when damp, highly inflammable and considerable static electricity build up.

Polyester, Nylon and Lycra

  • Extremely sensitive to heat. Wash in lukewarm water and dry iron at a low temperature setting.
  • Highly resistant and do not crease easily. Excellent color absorbency.
  • Highly inflammable and considerable static electricity build up.

Caring for the color of your clothes

  • When washing by hand, make sure the detergent is properly dissolved before inserting the garment. Keep colors separate for the first few washes, as the dye may get into the water.
  • Remember to empty pockets before machine washing.
  • Use bleach with cold water only and for a maximum of one hour. Do not use iron, copper or brass bowls.
  • When drying, do not expose garments to direct sunlight.

Tips for a perfect wash

  • There is no need to wash clothes at the maximum temperature setting indicated.
  • Do not rub garments, simply rinse gently.
  • Do not use fabric conditioners with 100% cotton items such as towels, as this reduces their absorbency.

When drying clothes…

  • Wrap knitted items in a towel and allow them to dry flat.
  • Do not hang or expose to direct sunlight or heat.
  • Do not dry synthetic fabrics in direct sunlight

Tips to prevent unpleasant surprises when ironing…

  • Sort the garments according to the temperature settings indicated on the labels and start with the lowest settings.
  • Ironing is easier when the garments are still slightly damp.
  • Before the iron cools, use damp cloth to remove any fibers that may have stuck to the plate.

Costume Jewelry Care Tips

Costume jewelry is known to be generally less durable than silver and gold jewelry. It is often created from materials using techniques that are chosen for visual effect rather than longer life. Please be very careful when handling, wearing and storing the jewelry.

  • Please do not expose the jewelry to harsh chemicals, sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Please make sure to apply cosmetics, perfumes and hairspray prior to putting on the jewelry to avoid possible peeling and discoloration.
  • Do remove the jewelry when performing any activity which may cause damage to the product, e.g. exercising, showering or performing household tasks.
  • Store each piece of jewelry separately to avoid scratches.
  • To clean, wipe each piece with a warm, damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not use cleaning liquid.
